FAQ
Can I bring my own food? No outside food is allowed in the park. There is a cafe on site where you can buy food and drinks.
Are under 2s free? Under 2 years old are only $10 for entry to the Kids’ Playzone.
Do you charge for spectators? Spectators are $5
It’s raining, are you still open? Yes, all rides still run in the rain. Note: Bungy and Zipline may be affected by lightning storms or high winds, please contact us to check in these conditions.
What are the ride restrictions? Please see restrictions below.
Luge: 1.1m tall and minimum age 6yrs to ride alone. Age 3-7yrs can ride tandem with an adult (18+)
Bungy: Minimum weight 35kg, maximum weight 105kg
Zipline: Minimum height 1.3m tall, maximum weight 110kg
4D Cinema: Minimum age 4yrs
Kids Playzone: Age 0-12yrs. Under 4 year olds must ride with an adult.
PARK RULES
Before you begin your adventure please read the following IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
You enter Auckland Adventure Park solely at your own risk. Auckland Adventure Park will not be responsible for any injury or loss which may occur during your visit. By purchasing a pass to Auckland Adventure Park you agree to adhere strictly to our park rules and ride regulations.
- Smoking is NOT permitted within the park grounds at any time.
- Pets are NOT permitted within the park grounds at any time.
Participants must be dressed appropriately for each activity, including:
- Closed toe footwear
- Long hair tied back, and no loose fitting clothing or accessories
- All participants must attend a safety briefing before each activity, and obey all safety rules and instructions.
- Age, height and weight restrictions are clearly identified at each activity. These must be adhered to.
- All children must be actively supervised by a parent/guardian at all times. An adult is a parent or caregiver over the age of 14yrs.
Auckland Adventure Park reserves the right to restrict access to, or remove a participant from, its activities at its discretion. This includes anyone who:
- Does not follow any safety rules or staff instruction
- Demonstrates unsuitable behavior
- Is suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- Severe weather conditions may require Auckland Adventure Park to suspend its activities for your own safety.
A reasonable standard of behavior is expected. Reckless or violent behavior will not be tolerated.
Please keep to defined pathways, and keep clear of fenced off areas.
If you need assistance, or see someone having difficulty, please alert Auckland Adventure Park staff immediately.
Rides located within Auckland Adventure Park may not be suitable to be ridden by persons with any form of health or medical condition that could be made worse by the risks/hazards associated with each ride, such as: high blood pressure; heart conditions; head, neck and/or back injuries; epilepsy; pregnancy. You participate at your own risk.
If you require any special care or attention due to any physical impairment or other please see a member of staff so as they can assist you.
Our staff will do everything to make your visit fun, enjoyable and safe. They wear identifiable uniforms and are ready to help – let them know if you need assistance.
RIDE REGULATIONS
General rules and regulations:
No food or drinks allowed on the rides.
Please follow the instructions given for each ride by the staff.
Please do not use the rides if your child has experienced vomiting or diarrhoea in the last 48-72 hrs
Medical Conditions:
The accelerations, movements and motions associated with the operation of the carousel may endanger the health, cause discomfort, or worsen their condition for people with medical conditions such as:
High blood pressure
Heart conditions
Head injury
Epilepsy
Pregnancy
Back injuries.
Mobility Impairment:
There are some risks to people with mobility impairment should there be a malfunction, fire or other accident beyond normal control.
Kids Playzone – Playground
Age: Up to 12 years max (unless accompanying an infant)
Weight: 100kg/person max
Players please:
- Remove footwear
Wear socks at all times (can be purchased at the ticket office) - No food or drink
- DO NOT push and shove,
- DO NOT intimidate younger children.
- Parents and caregivers are ultimately responsible for their children’s actions.
- Please report all accidents to a staff member
- Children must go down the slide feet first, please do not let them jump, push from the top or climb back up.
